Days filled with sunshine,
Fires in the fire pit out back,
A breeze on a summer day,
Hostess individual cherry pies,
Rodeos and Caballeros,
Freshly made salsa,
Sunsets across the valley,
...and Coke in a glass bottle.
These are a few of my favorite things.
Yesterday, we found a working, old-fashioned Coke machine...the kind where you open the door and pull out a glass bottle. For 35 cents, we enjoyed one of those purest of delights.
There's nothing like snapping the top with a bottle opener, hearing the gentle psss..., and seeing the slight vapor arise from inside the very top of the bottle, and sipping the wonderful goodness of Coca-Cola made oh-so-much-better by being in a glass bottle.
What a refreshing moment on the first day of Candy Sale!!!
